Meet Katheryn
Katheryn O’Connor has always called Park City home sweet home in her heart since she was young. Originally from Southern California, her family had been in Park City since the 70’s and she grew up skiing the beautiful mountains here in Park City with her parents and three brothers.
Before delving into Real Estate, Katheryn had an esteemed career as Occupational Therapist specializing in neurology. She went to Connecticut College as an undergraduate and was captain of their water polo team all four years. She then went directly to graduate school at Tufts University in Boston.
Shortly after in her 20’s, she moved to Park City to teach skiing at resorts and at the National Ability Center. She also began a hippotherapy/equine assisted therapy program for children in need with a grant she wrote and received.
During this time she fell in love with her husband while he was overseas as an Navy F-18 pilot. During their journey of his military service and many deployments, Katheryn lived back in Park City with her family for many years during his long deployments and became full time residents 8 years ago.
Throughout her exciting and, at times, daunting personal and professional challenges balancing motherhood, an ovarian cancer diagnosis, and a career with a deployed husband, Katheryn continued to rise to the occasion, and after moving to Park City full time, she decided to switch gears and dive into real estate full time. Katheryn’s people skills and her experience caring for others as an occupational therapist and coach at heart has translated seamlessly over into her real estate career. Those lucky enough to engage Katheryn immediately feel her integrity, energy, and dedication.
When Katheryn is not energetically assisting clients, you can find her volunteering at her three children’s schools and participating in the many activities an athlete-at-heart in Park City may be doing. Katheryn started off at Sotheby’s as a licensed assistant and moved to Coldwell for a brief time before landing at Berkshire the last 5 years. For all the right reasons, Katheryn is beyond excited to push herself to the next level in our incredible environment of Christie’s Park City!
